I know nothing about gymnastic and what is more difficult to do on what equipment but I must say her entry on asymetric bars is jaw dropping. How you can go from face to the bar but grab it from behind while turning you body in a half-turn with nothing else to raise your energy is beyond me. All that twist & turn within a few feet and not much time is very impressive and kind of beautiful to watch.

@@user-bf6hd6hu1m No it is not. Korbut never captured an individual all around title in her career. Nadia had 6. Korbut lost both olympics she was in. Nadia was champ in '76. Korbut won only 14 medals six gold in her career. Nadia won 33 medals, 23 gold, and had 17 perfect scores, 9 in the Olympics. It is not close.

rules were different in those days than they are now in Gymnastics the former SSR's have weaker teams over the last 2.5 decades then they did under the Soviet system and some of the tricks they used to do are banned for safety reasons also older women are competing now since the minimum age was raised to 16 then were competing even in the 90s Gabby Douglas is coming out of retirement to try for the US Women's Gymnastics team for Paris 2024 aged 28 8 years after she last competed in the Olympics in Rio and the 2nd oldest trying for the team is Simone Biles age 27 this will be her 3rd consecutive Olympics and she could win 5 medals team all around and the 4 individual discipline finals could see the team getting gold and Simone winning gold on Vault & Floor Silver on beam and Bronze on Bars which would give her 7 Olympic Gold Medals 4 Silver and 2 Bronze which would give her the 2nd most Gymnastics medals among women in history 13 only behind Larisa Latynina of the Soviet Union who competed in Melbourne 1956 Rome 1960 and Tokyo 1964 age 29 years 7 mos. and won 18 Medals over all 9 Gold 5 Silver 4 Bronze the US team has been Dominant for nearly 30 years while the Soviets/Romanians were for about 60 years and Women have been competing in Olympic Gymnastics for nearly 100 years there were many notable ones after Nadia such as Daniela Silivas Svetlana Khorkina Gina Gogean etc.

It's funny because in school in Romania we have grades up until 10 for who is the best. We would always joke as kids that we will get 10 across the line and beat the other kids in school.. Romanians in general at school were always competitive with each other and we valued sports because many saw it as a ticket out of poverty and possiblity to travel. We had government funded sports programs which is why Nadia was such a success..... She was picked in a school yard and came from a poor family..goes to show you that you don't need to be rich to be the best. Just need drive and determination. As a Romanian I feel a bit of Nadia in my soul because we all grew up in that dark communist era and all had a drive to be the greatest and get out of it.

The worse thing in life, is to be in a stupid ass system, who have to find away to fit into something they don't like. Who insides want to live one want, but the outside refuse to allow anything else in. Where the jackasses is the overseers without their stupid asses knowing that they are the major problem to the whole country layout.

I’ll NEVER forget. My 12 year old eyes watched her in utter amazement, transfixed on a young girl so close to my age, who was a MASTER in her sport. The WAY she delivered, her flawless technique, the determination worn on that innocent face, her confidence & graceful strength…….. perfection wearing a pony tail. She will ALWAYS be the #1 female MASTER of gymnastics, hands down, across the board🏆🙌🏆

Who ever invented theses apperatuses, needs a slap,. What the crazy humanity has created to entertain are tiny minds,. We are a very strange race of being
